About Us

The business of V PACK, formerly D’Afrique Trading International was founded in 2010. 

The business focused on the development of D’AFRIQUE (standard) and ORANGE TAPE (Premium) adhesive tapes which were sourced from China. 

The D'Afrique brand was sold in 2018. 

The ORANGE TAPE brand, established in 2015, was born out of the idea to introduce the first Orange coloured masking tape for the panel-beating industry. This was well received in the industry, as it was correctly perceived as “better quality than yellow” ! At the same time we also introduced Orange as a new coloured packaging tape to South Africa.

In late 2018, we secured the agency and distribution of VIBAC adhesive tapes for Gauteng and the inland provinces as well as the agency for VIBAC BOPP films in South Africa.

Accordingly in 2019, substantial investment was made in the business which was transferred to the new company, V PACK.

VIBAC is 1 of the 3 largest international producers of BOPP Packaging films

VIBAC is a world leader in HOT MELT, SOLVENT, ACRYLIC, PVC and ECO-FREINDLY  Packaging Tapes. 

VIBAC is also the only Masking Tape Manufacturer owning a PAPER MILL to produce the crepe paper used in the production of those products.. With their help, we have picked up from Orange and moved our masking tape forward again with the introduction of our new KRAFT (Premium) and FLUOR YELLOW (Ultimate Performance) automotive range.
